About Me
Israeli-born Musician Eran Sisam grew up the in lively streets of Tel Aviv and was exposed to many types of music as a child. Israel is a mixture of cultures and musical influences are many and varied.
While living 4 years in South of Israel in an area called the Negev (A part surrounding the Gaza Strip) Eran had the opportunity to record a special album- “The Southern Experiences Project”. Featuring more than 50 talented musicians who live in the region. This album, with its diverse range of instruments capture the spirit of the Negev. The melodies are both western and eastern in sound. This area bounces between times of tranquility and war.
Eran was first exposed to music & sound at a young age through the Piano playing of his older brother Jonathan and the Guitar playing of his second brother, Motty.
Eran, currently playing and teaching guitar for over 10 years as a deepening specialization in Eastern musical styles while also the gypsy styles. Eran studied music under distinguished teachers like Niño de Bela and Israeli well known composer, Peretz Eliyahu.
Eran holds a BA degree in music composition and Sound design for film soundtracks.
As part of his studies, Eran has composed Music for Films and Television
In 2013/2014 Eran broadcasted a weekly program about Films Soundtracks on the Israeli Radio.
As a film composer, Eran performed collaborations with fine Israeli local artists and as well - The Israeli Andalusian Orchestra.
You may notice many influences in his compositions. Starting from Arabic classical music and on to contemporary Western music.
In his spare time, Eran loves to read and write poetry, throwing Frisbees, Surfing and playing backgammon with camels on the beach while drinking his favorite drink - Turkish Coffee.
Eran works day and night from the simple belief that music is the power to connect various corners of existence and to harmonize humans.
